Bump and I were talking about something at dinner the other day. I don't remember what it was, exactly, but it sucked.
Me: That sucks.
Bump: Yes it does.
Me: That sucks. SUUUH-cks!
Lumpyhead: Sucks and shoes!
Bump: That's right, Buddy. Socks and shoes.
It should be noted that Bump also gave me the requisite disapproving look.

I was at Xiobhan's a few weeks ago, and Beck dropped something in the hallway and promptly said, 'Oh shit. Oh shit.' X and I were trying so hard not to laugh out loud, and she finally said, 'Yes, Beck. Oh CHIPS. Oh CHIPS.' For days after that, Petunia would ask me, 'Why did Beck say oh chips?' And I'd bite my lip and say, 'That's just something Beck says!'

PS As I type Lucy is careening around the family room pretending she is a puppy and Henry is singing away merrily. This will not last.
