Confessions from the Weekend

1. We packed the hospital bag. Actually, Bump packed the hospital bag, while I dithered about what I would wear home, complained about not wanting to take a pair of my ginormous underwear out of the rotation to put in the bag, and was completely unhelpful. I finally just handed over my toiletry kit and figured I would send Bump home for stuff as I needed it, which I admit is a terrible plan.

I decided the hospital bag should be mostly Bump’s stuff, since the hospital will see to almost all of my needs. I started putting a together a hospital list a few weeks ago, but sort of lost interest after I wrote “champagne flutes” and “bubbly.” I suppose I should make sure someone has a camera.

2. I feel kinda bad for Tony Romo. Poor thing, with his sad little head hung in despair. This is only one of the reasons why I’ll never be a very good sports blogger.

Whoa, packing for the hospital! Getting so close to D-day, you guys. May I suggest bringing fluffy towels? I would send you some jello too but... you know, it's included with your stay;)

Never feel sorry for a Cowboy.

What, you're supposed to pack before you are in labor?

I feel sorry for him, even if he is a stupid Cowboy.

I'll never be a good sports blogger because I hate sports.

My midwife told me I'd only be in hospital for a few hours once I'd given birth, so I didn't bother packing any toiletries. Boy was she wrong. In the end I left after a few hours because I had no toiletries and was dying for some moisturiser and toothpaste...

I thought he looked like a poor little rabbit, did Romo.
I just wanted to give him a hug.
And then kiss him, cuz I took Seattle in the office pool.

I'm with mom at work -- never feel sorry for a Cowboy. I kind of smirked, I confess. And -- and this is really a weird feeling -- I was glad that Philly won, because of the Iggles and the Gints, I hate the Gints more, and because now I can REALLY root for the Saints.

I actually felt sorry for him too, which is crazy on. I actually like Bledsoe, hate the Cowboys, don't even really like Football. But you see that hanging head, and it is hard not to share in the shame spiral.

Oooh. Hospital bag. I am glad you have Bump to take care of you.

What'd you pack for Lumpyhead's arrival? A celebratory keg? :)

Good luck, Bump! ;) You too, LM! Heh.

Yeah, I almost cried for Romo. I don't even like the Cowboys. I usually root for Parcells to lose in general.

Tony just looked so... sad.
