Having a Daughter Means

I can put goofy things on her head.

>Okay, that last one is a proper hat, but I still think it's funny.

Wait, I guess I put goofy things on my son's head, too. Never mind.

She has the funniest expression, like pure wide-eyed joy with a twinge of mischief. You are going to suffer so when she is a bit older!

You know, not many people could pull off that sailor suit that well.

My daughter puts goofy things on her own head - like a bucket or one of those little pots that individual fruits salads come in - and thinks they make her a king.

I want that last one turned into a cartoon where she jumps over Gene Kelly's spinning leg.

I'm just impressed that they leave them there long enough for you to take a picture!

That last picture is adorable. She looks so proud of her sailor-y-self.

I want to nibble Lula's cheeks. She is so cute. And she loves the camera. I can't wait until she can walk and starts doing little fashion shows for us all!

Oh how I love that stage, when they'll sit still long enough for you to put things on their head and then take a picture. Or seven.

Mah baybee had that yellow outfit in size newborn... it was my favorite. *sniff.* Lula wears 'em well-- the outfit and the hat.
