Seen on Craigslist

Okay, when I saw this for sale under Baby & Kid Stuff, I almost had to tell you about it. Except, I thought, I'm sure that kind of post has been done dozens of times, and it is probably boring. But I still think it's funny.

Can you believe someone might be looking to unload an item like that?

And how much must that parent's inlaws HATE him? You know it was a gift. No one buys something like that for his own child.

So I was gonna keep that to myself, because it is probably not that novel, but then I saw this listed under Garage Sales, and I had to tell you about it.

I have a friend who gave my oldest a set of maracas and bongos for his second birthday.
When we got home, he immediately played the bonos with the maracas.
I threatened to buy her teenager a dime bag if she EVER did anything like that again.

Garage sales. Ha!

Our lawn is in really bad shape. I wonder if I should look under "yard sales."

Who buys a drum set for their kids? Me and Cary. They played it so much that it literally broke to pieces, so we bought them a second one.

It maybe loud but at least you can't lose a drum kit on the subway.

And by the way, $25 is a total ripoff for that set, it's crap.

Garage sales.

I get it.

Haha to both. I would have never even thought of the noise factor - you can tell I actually don't have any kids. But garage sales - now that is priceless.

Damn, the CL posting is deleted. That was the item. Drumset? What's wrong with a drumset?

Yeah, it was a Toddler Drum Set.

Nothing wrong with a Toddler Drum Set, I would just kill anyone who brought one into my house. Kill that person with my bare hands.

And like it.

okay, problem with linking to Craigslist: the posts expire.

The second link was a guy looking for a parking space or garage. Geddit?
