Are Veterinarians from SE Asia Called Vietnam Vets, Too?

Apparently one of Lumpyhead's preschool classmates wants to be a vet, so everyone was invited to bring a stuffed animal to school today. I guess she is going to give them all exams or something. Lumpyhead chose this:
Bump: Is that a crocodile or an alligator?
Lumpyhead: It's a crocodile. His name is Mr. Alligator.
Bump: I bet that gets confusing.

Also? Holy cow does my son need a haircut. Maybe one of his classmates wants to be a barber.

Is his hair suddenly a lot lighter, too?

And I'm now going to take a poll of my Vietnamese friends. I'll keep you posted.

Our daughter has a stuffed toy chimp called Cheeky Monkey, which is just as confusing.

Also, I once travelled with a Swede who had a Swiss Army knife constantly hanging off his belt loop. I called it his Swedish Army knife, but he just laughed enigmatically...

My daughter has a stuffed monkey that she takes everywhere with her. His name is Polar Bear.

I'm pretty sure that is an alligator because of the squared snout.

Also, I used to have a snail (in my fishbowl) and his name was Sea Cow.
