I'm out.
Maternity Leave, Part II has begun.
I've spent the last hour watching Thomas and Friends. Does anyone know of any Thomas videos that are heavy on the singing? Lumpyhead will put up with only so much storyline before he insists on more songs. Bump has tried to convince Lumpyhead that he really doesn't like Thomas, he just likes the occasional songs, to no avail. We end up fast forwarding through the episodes until we land on those flat British kids caterwauling.
(Lumpyhead wants you to know, "Sodor! Thomas lives!" I think he means "Sodor is where Thomas lives," but he could just be triumphantly saluting that whiny little train.
I must go now. His Majesty is demanding more songs.)

Yay you! Yay maternity leave!!!
I got nothing on the Thomas front. There must be a Thomas sing along somewhere, but it doesn't sound like he'd go for that anyway.
The only Thomas DVD we have is ALL songs. It's excruciating. I can't handle more than 10 minutes of it. You really don't want me to go find it & give you the title - becuase I'd be subjecting you to pure hell if you bought it. It's that bad. (Also I'm too lazy to go dig it out of the drawer right now.)
Thomas sings? I had no idea. Does Sir Toppenhat rap as well?
Congratulations on 'scaling the wall', even if it's just temporary. Enjoy every minute of it!
I can't comment on the newer post, so I'll say it all here:
1) Thomas Lives!
2) I love your hair. I am glad there will be less of it to hold back for the tequila.
3) You should let Bump hold out the camera. His arms have got to be longer than yours. He's what 6' 6"?
4) Mmmmmmm. Torte.
Parole suits you, as does the new haircut. Keep up the posting!
I can't handle Thomas so we never watch it.
My daughter prefers the sing-a-long bit too, much more than the actual stories. Only now she can actually tell Toby from Gordon from Thomas.
Good news. Many happy returns to what I like to call Sweatpant Nation.
There are 2 Thomas songs videos/DVDs: Thomas' Trackside Tunes and Songs from the Stations. Shoot me now. I can't believe I know this shit.
